How IPTV Reseller Credits Work

What reseller credits are, how bundles and per-subscription costs fit together, and how credit rates shape your margin — with worked examples.

Credits are the single most important mechanic in the IPTV reseller business. Understand them and pricing, packages and profit all fall into place.

What a Credit Is

A credit is the prepaid unit your reseller panel spends to create subscriptions. You buy credits in a bundle from the provider; the panel deducts credits each time you activate a line. You never pay per subscription in cash after that — the credit balance is your inventory.

What a Subscription Costs in Credits

The credit cost of a subscription usually depends on two things:

  • Duration — a 12-month line costs more credits than a 1-month line (but less per month, which is where margin hides).
  • Options — extra connections cost extra credits. Mega OTT, for example, lets you sell accounts for 1, 2 or 3 devices, pricing each extra connection with additional credits.

Exact numbers vary by panel and bundle tier, and current rates are always quoted on request rather than published — rates change, and stale numbers help nobody.

Bundle Tiers and Per-Credit Rates

Providers price bundles so that larger purchases get a lower per-credit rate. In practice that creates three working tiers:

  1. Trial credits — a small amount to test the panel, apps and stream quality.
  2. Standard bundles — the working inventory for active sellers.
  3. Volume bundles — the best per-credit economics for high-volume resellers.

The reselling math is straightforward: your cost per subscription is the credit cost multiplied by your per-credit rate. Lower rate, higher margin at the same retail price.

A Worked Example (Illustrative)

Suppose your bundle works out to a certain per-credit rate, and a 1-month line costs a fixed number of credits. If that line costs you the equivalent of $4 in credits and you sell it for $12, your gross margin is $8 per customer per month before operating costs. These figures are illustrative, not quotes — plug your own numbers into the profit calculator.

Edge Cases Worth Knowing

  • Refunds: most panels do not refund spent credits. A notable exception is 4KOTT, where credit refunds may be available for unused accounts, subject to the reseller credit rules.
  • Expiry: ask whether unused credits expire. Policies differ by panel.
  • Upgrades: converting a trial to a longer plan mid-period consumes additional credits — factor it into your pricing.

The Takeaway

Treat credits like stock in a shop: buy at the best rate your volume justifies, know your exact cost per product, and price retail with the margin you actually need. For current rates on any panel, message us on WhatsApp — we quote real numbers, not placeholders.
